Ok so I decided tonight that one of my resolutions for the new year would be to keep a blog! I started this one here so long ago - as you can see the one and only post was a picture of my great big 38 week swollen baby belly -- and Ive since had that baby - AND another one! My track record with blogging isnt so great - but I will at least endeavour to try!

So Ive wasted most of the night trying to find a cute background for the blog - and then work out how to get it on the thing... not happy with this one - but I reaslied that another great resolution would be to stop sweating the small stuff and just get on with it -- so off I go!

2009 was a pretty good year for us I think. Any year that sees the arrival of a new family member is pretty darn fantastic if you ask me - and in June we did just that with the arrival of our little (or rather, not-so-little) Patrick George :) What a wonderful little chap he is too - he is such a happy boy - and such a great sleeper, which is a nice change :) I cant believe that he is already 6 months though -- time has gone so fast... guess that means weve been having fun though, so they say! He is already on the move, having just figured out the commando crawl. Its brought about a whole new set of concerns though about keeping the floors clean as of course, EVERYTHING he comes across ends up in his mouth, and having a 4yr old and 2yr old decorating the house with their upended toy buckets every waking moment... well Im being kept very busy!

Tonight Im completely on edge though... Rob discovered that we have a mouse in the house! EW!!! I have never ever had this happen before and its horrifying me! How did it get in? WHY did it get in? How do we get rid of it? Gross gross gross!!!

Tomorrow its off to work for me, hi ho hi ho... I dont mind it - but one of the ladies I work with has this annoying habit of constantly saying ' I cant be bovered today' yes, boVered, not bothered... and I love how she throws in the 'today' only, its every bloody day that she utters those words without fail! She does abdolutely nothing but complain and it drives me up the wall! Just one of those little things that grate on the nerves!

Well theres my oh do deep first entry for the new decade... hmmm I really should have made it a bit better lol - nevermind!!

Testing

Well this is all very new to me, so at the moment, this blog is in its 'testing, testing, 1-2-3' stage!! There will hopefully be some content very very soon, although being 38 weeks pregnant and Mummy to a 2yr old boy full of all that boundless 2 yr old energy - Im not making any promises!!
